What kind of game is Calm Rubiks Cube?
It is a quiet place to turn a 3×3 cube, with no timer and no ads. Each scene has its own animated illustration, sounds and a soft music pad generated live in the browser: waves on a beach, the last light over mountains, rain on a night city, a crackling fireplace and a sunlit forest.
How the solver helps
- Tap Help me solve. The game works out every move.
- Each move is explained in plain words, such as "Turn the right side up", and the layer to turn glows.
- Go at your own pace, or press Play the rest to watch it finish.
- If you turn a different way, the solver finds a new route.
Have a real cube that is scrambled? Use Copy my cube to paint its colours on screen, and the game shows how to solve it.
Features
- Five scenes: Beach, Mountain, Rain, Room and Forest.
- Two views: Hand view, where you hold the cube, and Table view at a three-quarter angle.
- Controls fade out while you play; tap empty space to bring them back.
- A black or white cube, four skin tones for the hands, and separate volume controls.
