What kind of game is Mythfell?
Mythfell is tower defense built around merging. A board of first-tier towers never wins a late level; a board of a few merged ones usually does. Towers merge through five tiers, plus a Paragon path past the cap. You start each wave yourself, so there is no time pressure between waves.
The six elements
| Element | Role |
|---|---|
| Arrow | Cheap backbone |
| Frost | Barely hurts |
| slows the column so everything else works | |
| Flame | Splash damage |
| Venom | Keeps working after the shot lands |
| Storm | Chains between enemies |
| Crystal | Snipes across two lanes at once |
No enemy is weak to everything: skeletons shrug off arrows, treants burn, golems walk through fire. The in-game Codex lists every matchup.
Levels, heroes and modes
- 20 campaign levels across a green forest and a hot desert, each with its own weather and light.
- Five heroes, each with an ability; you pick who takes the field.
- Levels take things away as often as they add them: a pad closes, a new enemy appears, a boss arrives.
- The Gauntlet: an endless mode with a leaderboard for your best wave.
