Comet Sweeper is a free space salvage incremental game released on itch.io on October 25, 2026. You fly a salvage ship into a debris field, scoop up what you can and haul it back to the station to sell. The further out you fly, the more debris is worth; the more you carry, the slower you turn; and solar flares force you back under the station's shield. Later you build drone fleets that collect for you.

What kind of game is Comet Sweeper?

Comet Sweeper starts as an active flying game and grows into an idle one. Credits buy upgrades to fly faster and carry more, and eventually a fleet of collector drones that plan their own routes. When you are ready, you jump to a bigger sector with a permanent sales bonus; the longer you wait to jump, the bigger the bonus.

How to play

  • Mind the weight. A full hold makes the ship heavy and slow to turn, so pick your moment to head home.
  • Hide from flares. When the warning sounds, get inside the station's shield or your hull starts to break down.
  • Build a fleet. Give drones orders about what to collect and they optimise their own routes.
  • Jump further out for a permanent sales bonus.
