What kind of game is Rezerv?
Rezerv is a turn-based macroeconomics game, one month per turn. Every month a new crisis lands on your desk and no option is free. Its model is transparent and has no dice rolls, so cause and effect can be traced: sell too many reserves to defend the currency now and the rate snaps back later.
How to play
- Pick policies: the interest rate, currency intervention, taxes, spending, borrowing and reforms.
- Answer the month's crisis event.
- Press Space to advance a month and watch the economy react.
- Survive the elections at month 24 and month 48, then keep going into a second term.
