Zapping is a free psychological horror game released on itch.io on October 26, 2026. It is late, nothing is on, and you start changing channels. Across twelve fictional stations, small details stop matching, a programme remembers what you did, and the room on television has a better view of your chair than you do. One continuous story leads to one ending.

How to play Zapping

  • Use the remote to flip through the channels and find the frequencies between them.
  • Solve puzzles inside the broadcasts and the room: move clock hands, handle photographs, change the light and uncover images.
  • Use the optional pencil notes in the programme guide when you need a nudge.
  • Progress saves automatically, so you can leave and return to the same evening.

Languages and setup

Text in English, Italian, Spanish, French and German, with English voices. Play in a desktop browser with mouse and keyboard; headphones and a dark room are recommended.
